Books are selected by community members who lead this monthly gathering. Folks have the opportunity to analyze the books and discuss why they were banned (and the impact).

Everyone is welcome- whether you have read/listened to the entire book, have read/listened to part of it, and/or are just curious to learn more (warning: there will be spoilers). Don’t live locally and want to participate? You can call or Facetime in!

Typically meets at 2 PM on the last Saturday of the month.

Mortal Matters BookClub

Rebecca Petrowsky from Deathwalker Doula Services selects the books and facilitates this BookClub.

This is a facilitated community book club that invites open, thoughtful conversation around death, dying, grief, and the many ways these experiences shape our lives.

This group is open to all and welcomes a wide range of perspectives and lived experiences. Mortal Matters is not a grief support or counseling group, but rather a reflective, discussion-based gathering centered on curiosity, connection, and learning together.

Held on the last Saturday of the month from 11am - 1pm
