Want to start writing fiction, but don’t know where to start? Flash fiction, an easy to learn but hard to master genre, might be right for you!
In this class, teacher and local writer Ryan will host a quick crash course on the basics of this short form of writing while sharing tips and tricks on how to best get started. Then, we’ll write some flash fiction, either with use of one of the provided prompts or your own ideas. Afterward, we’ll provide an open space for authors to (optionally) share their work.
While the class is FREE, suggested donations of $5 or more are welcome. In addition, Ryan will also be selling copies of his latest zine Let’s Get Funked Up, a collection of flash fiction featuring stories about cannibalism in the workplace, space abductions, a hotline for planets nearing extinction, and more.
